PhoneNAS development build
The current PhoneNAS build operates an SMB server on your local network and accesses only the folder you select through Android’s system storage picker.
- Files: file names, directory information and file contents are made available to authenticated SMB clients that you connect on your local network. Jenux Labs does not receive them.
- Credentials: the SMB username and password are stored locally in the app’s preferences on the Android device. They are used to authenticate local SMB connections and are not sent to Jenux Labs.
- Network: the app uses local-network connectivity and service discovery. Android declares this through internet, Wi‑Fi/network-state and multicast permissions.
- Storage: access is granted by your explicit folder selection and remains subject to the Android storage provider.
- Advertising, analytics, crash reporting and purchases: none of these SDKs are enabled in the current inspected build.
Deleting the app normally removes its local preferences. Folder access can also be revoked in Android settings. Files created in the shared folder remain there unless you delete them.
